CHECK IT: Grizzly Bear Blog
Grizzly Bear have taken to covering songs again, and this time it's lead guitarist Daniel Rossen's verison of, um, R&B mini-diva JoJo's 2006 hit "Too Little Too Late". Sounds dubious, but in fact is amazing; yet another testament to the fact that anything this band touches turns into Americana gold. Front man Ed Droste posted the track to the Grizzly Bear blog, and used the occasion to let us know his top 15 albums of 2007 (spoiler alert: #1 is Dirty Projectors' Rise Above. You don't say?). The whole shebang is at the link below, including what the band did for Thanksgiving. Sweet.
