CHECK IT: Glass Candy
We can't think of a better birthplace (except, well, Italy) for a label called Italians Do It Better than Jersey City, NJ. It just oozes late night drama and open collared shirts, but in a totally cool ’70s way, not a gross Lower East Side circa 2007 way. The label have become the purveyors of the new disco craze that's taking over New York City nightlife (they released a 12" by our very own Jacques Renault), and have just put out a tour-only EP for electro-glam rockers Glass Candy, and it's completely gorgeous. The main track off it is "Candy Castle", a thumping dance number that's probably getting quite a few plays on Goldfrapp's iPod as we speak. Headphone Sex just featured it so check it out below.
