Everyone in the UK are currently hailing Foals as the future of rock 'n' roll: and if every British music writer (we love you DIS!) had their way, in the year 2021 every band on earth would be some sort of variation of Foals' jerky, contagious post-rock. Sounding like a combination of This Heat [ask your dad -- Semi-Obscure Post Punk Band Ed.], old-school Rapture, and the slightest hint of '90s electro, Foals tore up NYC during this year's CMJ Music Marathon, and we can't wait for the to come back. The Music Slut posted some new UK tour dates as well as their stomper "Mathletics", so as always, be sure to check it out.
