Brooklyn-based trio Beat The Devil's haunted take on punk and the blues sounds like it was birthed in some smoky netherworld. This might have something to do with the group's unusual instrumentation (bass, drums, harmonium, vox)—but we think it's probably more to do with the hazy, bluesy feel the three conjure up from "the other side" when they perform. We hear a really raw, scratchy PJ Harvey vibe on their first RCRD LBL track, "Plea Bargain", and are very excited to share it with you today.
