CHECK IT: Pipettes x NPR

NPR.org has just begun to stream media, and have created an amazing portal for smart music fans the world over in the process. They've recently posted a great interview of British post-modern girl group The Pipettes from The Bryant Park Project show that we thought you'd want to dig in to. 

The secret sauce here is the gee-golly! vibe of the Pipettes: three girls and a genius backing band (which until recently featured Joe Lean from new Britpop band Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong on drums) who sing '60s-inspired pop songs that take catchy to a whole new level. Take a listen to the interview and live performance, it's like Ready, Steady, Go! for the internet set.
